89 euros seems like a good price for a product from the famous electric car brand Tesla, except if we take into account that the company’s new thing is a beer. Almost 100 euros cost three thirds of the new beer from Elon Musk baptized as Gigabier.
The beer, made in Berlin, follows the German Beer Purity Law, is style pilsner and is made with an “exclusive variety of Cyberlúpulo” (sic) and notes of citrus, bergamot and sweet fruit.
Taking into account that the announcement of the beer has been made in the middle of April Fools, the Anglo-Saxon April Fool’s Day, we might think that everything is a joke: it was in 2021, when the launch was announced, but Musk has made it a reality, to the satisfaction of his loyal fans.
Beer is already for sale on the Tesla website, in a pack of three bottles that emulate the shape of the Cybertruck), the futuristic electric pick-up that should be launched this year, but whose final version still only exists in the form of a render.
From Gigabier to Teslaquila
It is not the first time that Tesla has tried his luck in the alcoholic beverages (or, rather, collecting) market. In 2020 they presented the Teslaquila: a tequila at $250 a bottle that sold out in a matter of hours.
For the moment, the GigaBier It is only sold in these European countries: Spain, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal and Sweden.
