Sony has just introduced a new, lightweight, totally wireless, or TWS, headphones. They are the new Sony WF-C500, which are presented as the cheapest of the brand’s TWS series of headphones.
The Sony WF-C500 are compact and lightweight headphones that, although they do not have noise cancellation of any kind, stand out for their autonomy of up to 20 hours with the help of your box.
Headphones to go everywhere
Sony just introduced a new simple TWS headphones, with a compact and lightweight design (5.4 grams each earphone and 35 grams its charging box). Sony highlights that the rounded shapes of the headphones make them especially comfortable to wear for hours.
For hours you can wear them, as another of their strengths is in autonomy. Typical battery life is 10 hours on one charge, to which another 10 hours can be added with the help of the charging box. With a 10-minute charge, the headphones gain one hour of autonomy.
In terms of sound, the Sony WF-C500 have a 5.8 millimeter driver unit, with DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) to enhance high frequencies and smooth fades when listening to compressed audio tracks. The sound can be customized with the help of Sony’s Headphones Connect app.
The headphones are certified to IPX4 resistance, and are compatible with Google Fast Pair for fast connection with the mobile. Through its physical buttons it is possible to control music playback, invoke the assistant and answer calls without interacting with the mobile.
Sony WF-C500 price
The Sony WF-C500 TWS earphones will be available in Europe from October 2021, priced at approximately 100 euros. They are available in the colors black, white, green and orange.
