Humane Ai Pinthe new gadget created by former employees of Facebook, which essentially works as a projector with graphical interfaces that eliminates the need for a touch screen, threatens to become the technological replacement for smartphones. So it was urgent for us to know the opinion of Sam AltmanCEO of OpenAIon the matter.
The executive with ChatGPT came to completely shake the inertia and dynamics of the industry, putting leaders in their sector in trouble, such as Google with its search engine, which had not implemented any profound innovation in their platforms for years.
In that sense Sam Altman It ended up becoming a mandatory reference in the IT sector when it comes to changing the rules of the game and the Humane Ai Pin points in exactly that same direction of blowing up the board.
It is a tiny clip, technically a wearable or wearable, which looks like a clothing accessory but is actually an intelligent device capable of projecting responsive graphic interfaces on any surface, such as your own hand, thereby overcoming dependence on the screen of a smartphone or tablet.
This product could change the current order of the sector, and could even steal its moment from the Apple Vision Pro, which since its announcement was presumed to be the replacement for the iPhone. But what does the man behind ChatGPT think?
Sam Altman talks about Humane Ai Pin and gives his blessing
Those responsible for this new project have released a recent press release through the firm CISION PR Newswirewhere they address more details about the Humane Ai Pin, where they have not hesitated again to describe their product as a new beginning for personal Artificial Intelligence devices.
In the newsletter, the company states that the Ai Pin marks “a new beginning for personal consumption technology”, by integrating an AI-powered device, without a screen and based on conversational commands, revealing in passing that it will be available for orders in United States starting November 16, 2023 with a base cost of US$699 in its most basic model.
But the most interesting thing is that in the middle of all that promotional announcement there is a quote from none other than Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI and current person in charge of the popular ChatGPT, where he talks about the device:
“We believe in a future where artificial intelligence amplifies human potential and Humane shares this vision. “We are proud to partner with them to leverage Artificial Intelligence together and redefine the way we interact with technology and the world.”
It is not known for sure if there will be full integration between the device and the ChatGPT platform. But everything indicates that there could be a potential alliance in the future.
For now, Sam Altman has given his blessing and it seems that he is also signing up to the plan to leave the smartphone behind.
