digitization
The progress of digital transformation in recent years is undeniable and, this year, finding the right tools for the management, administration and operation of the business will be key to having up-to-date financial information and guaranteeing good financial health.
This is particularly important and urgent, since a high percentage of SMEs still do not use technology to operate their businesses. The Radiography of Entrepreneurship in Mexico 2021 shows that 25% of micro, small and medium-sized companies (mipymes) still do not use digital tools; Of those that do use one, only 14% use an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System to manage the organization and only 7% have inventory control software.
Flexibility and creativity
It is the ideal time for new or existing companies to be attentive, flexible and agile to take advantage of the opportunities and trends that are emerging in Mexico. Such is the case of nearshoring, which is to transfer part of the production inside or outside the country to third parties, which is gaining momentum and can mean a great opportunity for diversification and growth for SMEs in the Mexican market.
Faced with a panorama of great challenges for the coming year, it is time to have more productive, efficient companies that grow, are sustainable and that contribute to society; generating employment and creating prosperity in the country in the long term.
