Samsung has confirmed the release date of its next folding mobiles, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. The South Korean could also announce a new high-end mobile, a smartwatch and wireless headphones. The acquaintance Unpacked, as on previous occasions, it will be broadcast via streaming.
The launch will take place next August 11 at 5:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time) and at 10:00 am in Mexico. Users will be able to follow the presentation of these new products through the Samsung YouTube channel or from its official website.
While the company has not confirmed which devices will be announced next Wednesday, the tagline for the event is “get ready to deploy,” suggesting we will see new folding smartphones. Specifically, two terminals with a folding screen are expected. On the one hand, we would meet the Galaxy Z Fold 3. This smartphone will be the protagonist, and it is expected to arrive with a flexible 7.6-inch OLED panel, camera under the screen and support for S-Pen. Samsung Unpacked: Galaxy z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Galaxy Watch 4 and more
In addition to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung may announce the Galaxy S21 FE, a high-end model that has been rumored many times in recent weeks. However, this smartphone is likely to arrive later, at a separate event. Samsung, remember, has had problems with the production of this model due to the global shortage of semiconductors, which could have forced them to delay its launch. Finally, the Galaxy S21 FE will arrive with two different processors: Snapdragon 888 for the global market and Exynos 2100 for the Asian market.
Along with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy S21 FE, the South Korean could announce the expected Galaxy Watch 4. This smartwatch will be the first of the brand to include Wear OS, Google’s renewed operating system for smart watches. Samsung, in fact, has already announced certain software features and confirmed a release for this summer. Therefore, and despite the fact that the invitation does not show signs of a new smartwatch, it is very likely that it will be announced in this Unpacked.
Finally, the firm prepares the launch of the Galaxy Buds 2, headphones true wireless that would arrive in striking colors, a design similar to the Galaxy Buds Pro and with noise cancellation. These, in principle, would accompany the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy S21 FE.
