- Net content. Quantity of product indicated on the label.
- free alkali. They should not have free alkali content, so their maximum amount is 0.05 percent, since anything higher could cause skin irritation.
- Humidity. The water content should not exceed 22 percent.
- Fatty acids. As they are cleaning agents formed from fatty acid salts, or derivatives, it was verified that they contained a minimum of 41 percent of these components.
- Chlorides. These should not exceed 1.5 percent.
- Insoluble in alcohol. These should not exceed 6 percent alcohol-insoluble ingredients, such as alkali salts, sulfates and starches.
