President Andrés Manuel López Obrador reported that a worker from Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) was killed after the fire on the E-Ku-A2 platform of the Ku-A Processing Center, in the Campeche probe.
In his daily press conference from the National Palace, the federal president also reported 3 injured and 3 missing and hoped that they could be located soon.
“So far the report we have is that a Pemex worker has lost his life, there are wounded and missing. We wish with all our heart that the injured recover and that those who are being reported as missing appear ”, commented the head of the federal Executive.

According to Pemex, the fire on the platform belonging to the Ku-Maloob-Zaap asset was fully controlled on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. and reports the presence of three injured.
The state production company indicated that at the moment, the staff is working on guaranteeing the integrity of the facility and conducting an assessment of the damage.
In the same way, he affirmed that he will carry out a root cause investigation to determine what triggered this accident.
