After the approval of the National Insurance and Bonds Commission (CNSF), Quálitas began a first stage in Mexico City, where the first policies were issued.
In 2023 and 2024, the insurer will seek to grow in Monterrey and Guadalajara. Coverage in the north of the country will continue in 2024 and 2025, while the southern zone will be covered in 2025, according to a schedule presented to the media.
Correa said that the objective of these insurances will be preventive health and omitted to give numbers of policies issued so far, although he said that the first policies have been delivered to Quálitas personnel.
“We are working with hospital networks and individual insurance, it is compensatory insurance, that is, there are possible diseases or illnesses and compensation is based on what the client has chosen,” he said.
