Sony has just published a new video dedicated entirely to PlayStation VR2, its new virtual reality glasses, so that we can see what they will be capable of and with which the company intends take a rather surprising generational leap on this ground.
The device will allow us to experience quality superior to that already seen in PlayStation VR thanks to images with a quality in 4KHDR, but the viewfinder will not be short with its new features either. More than anything because it will have eye tracking to detect the movement of our eyes and the resolution will also adapt based on what we focus on.
Also, the field of vision will be 110º and the glasses can be adjusted in different ways to adapt them to any dimension so that they can be comfortable for anyone. In addition, it also highlights its 3D Audio so that we do not lose any detail of what sounds around us, either in front of us or in the rear.
For their part, the new controls, called PlayStation VR2 Sensethey will be similar to the DualSense in the sense that they will make use of haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and will also be able to precisely follow the place where the fingers of the hand are located.
All of this can be seen in games like Horizon Call of the Mountain, No Man’s Sky, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution and Resident Evil Village, among other titles. However, we must not forget that all those that were published in the first PlayStation VR will not be compatible with the new virtual reality device, which still has no release date.
