It only took a few days for users to start reporting the first OnePlus Nord bugs. There are some small bugs rolling over the internet about this device, but there is one that has caught the attention of everyone. This is a glitch on the OnePlus Nord screen that has already been seen on other devices from 2020. Yes, we are talking about screens that change color when the brightness is too low. The AMOLED panel of the OnePlus Nord is also affected by this problem, although it is not exactly the same as in other devices that we have seen, such as the Galaxy S20.
This is how the OnePlus Nord screen looks with the brightness below 25%
Quite a few users on Reddit are reporting this bug when they set their OnePlus Nord’s brightness below 25%. During the day it is not a percentage that is used a lot, but at night it is. When doing so, the OnePlus Nord screen turns green and purple that gives the sensation of facing a faulty panel. We do not know the reason why this happens, but the good news is that if the brightness goes up everything is solved.
It is a failure that in 2020 is occurring in many terminals, including some high-end such as the Galaxy S20. We do not know to what extent this is a general failure, but there are quite a few users who are reporting the problem on social networks and forums of the Android community.
The OnePlus Nord has only been officially presented for a few days and even less in the hands of users, so the company faces a small reputational crisis that is very important to them. This failure does not mean that we are facing a poor quality device, but it can make certain users rethink their purchase.
At the moment we can only wait for OnePlus to release a statement or tell us how they plan to fix it. It is currently unknown whether the failure is related to the device’s software or hardware.
What do you think about this failure in the OnePlus Nord?
