Morena’s coordinator in the Senate, Ricardo Monreal, informed that Olga Sánchez Cordero will be proposed to the full Senate to be the next president of the Board of Directors in the legislature.
“The four (senators who sought to head the upper house) in coordination with the group have decided that whoever represents the group as our possible president of the Board of Directors is Dr. Olga Sánchez Cordero,” said the Moreno leader.
In a conference with the retired minister, the senator explained that due to said decision taken by the Morena bench, there will be no internal election to elect the president of the Board of Directors.
“There will be no Board of Directors election tomorrow, which was scheduled from 8 to 9:30 in the morning. It will not be carried out and for that reason my recognition to all, because they echoed the proposal that their server made ”, Monreal mentioned.
He recalled that on Sunday, August 29, they will elect the president of the Senate, and he must be elected with two-thirds of the senators present.
