All of these announcements pushed the stock higher, as the company highlighted products for different verticals, including robotics, gaming, advertising, networking, and even an AI supercomputer that, according to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, it will help companies create their own versions of ChatGPT.
Huang also gave a decisive perspective regarding the incorporation of AI in companies. He noted that agile companies will take advantage of this technology; however, those that do not use such resources will die.
“While some people worry that AI might take their jobs, someone skilled in AI will,” he said in a presentation, noting that while it will make some jobs obsolete, it will also create new jobs, as well as boost employee performance.
Last week, the company issued a sales forecast of $11 billion for the fiscal second quarter thanks to its AI sales, bringing its value closer to $1 trillion.
