A new render of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra it’s changing the supposed design of Samsung’s next flagship devices. The company was expected to follow the design line of this year with the Galaxy S21: a very large camera module and occupying the entire top corner. If the CAD renders are right we will see a major design change in the next few Samsung Galaxy S22. The camera will keep a good number of sensors, but with a much more discreet module.
This will be the back of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
The new render that has been leaked refers to the CAD measurements of the supposed device. This means that the design is based on something real and that it could almost accurately reflect the final design of the device. The main smartphone is none other than the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the most advanced of the next generation.
LetsGoDigital has published some 3D renderings in which the back of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is shown with a heavily changed camera module. It seems that Samsung has taken a step back with this module, as it is similar to what we saw in models like the Galaxy Note 10.
This new module leave behind the design of hosting the entire corner and merge the module itself with the device frames. It is much simpler and would have two islands with different sensors and components. The main one would be in charge of supporting the 3 main sensors and the secondary one the rest of the sensors and LED flash.
Samsung has reduced anything other than photographic sensors to the maximum: there is no gigantic bezel. The island that supports the cameras is as small as possible and focuses on slightly protecting the sensors and adding a little thickness to improve the quality of the photographic section.
It’s not a Galaxy Note, it’s a Galaxy S
Seeing this render it is very likely that the return of the Samsung Galaxy Note has come to mind. The reality is that this CAD render shows what the Galaxy S22 Ultra looks like right now. It is not very difficult to deduce that Samsung could make a more square model, larger and with S-Pen to be able to replace the death of the Galaxy Note.
It is very difficult to know if these renderings show the reality of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the rest of the models in the series. It is quite early for leaks, so we recommend that you wait to get a basic idea of what is to come early 2022.
