Various Reddit users They realized this novelty after verifying that the reproduction of some series and movies with AirPods and an iPhone was more inverse. The company has finally confirmed (via 9to5Mac) that this novelty is being implemented on its platform.
Spatial audio was announced with the arrival of iOS 14. This feature, available on AirPods Pro and AirPods Max, allows you to enjoy music, series, movies or documentaries, with a more immersive sound. To do this, Apple applies directional audio filters and adjusts the frequencies that are received in each ear. The gyroscope and accelerometer of the AirPods Pro, as well as that of the iPhone, are also used to detect the location of the head and reassign the sound field.
Support on Netflix is available on the aforementioned Apple headphones, as well as on the iPhone and iPad with iOS 14. Users can enable or disable spatial audio through the control center. To do this, they must press and hold on the volume section and select the “Spatial Audio” button that appears at the bottom of the screen.
