As you know, Microsoft Edge Canary receives updates every day. This means that many times we have news every day, something difficult to follow. However, our seasoned reader Leo Varela He never misses one and that’s what happened with the latest Edge Canary update. In this version, which already has three digits, it comes with full screen mode for PDF documents. Additionally, the browser can also hide all annotations within a document, as well as view its properties.
Microsoft Edge Canary improves when working with PDF documents
Edge has long had the ability to open PDF files within the browser, this has become a standard and good support is important. Clicking on a link to a PDF file opens the file in a new tab. Navigating inside a PDF file has always been easy. Now, Microsoft allows you to use the browser as presentation tool or simply as an aid to read PDF documents without any distraction.
Edge Canary 100 has a full screen mode optimized for PDF files. Full screen mode is often preferred for presentations. By selecting this mode, only the PDF document is displayed on the entire screen; even the PDF reader toolbar is hidden. Full screen mode is indicated by a diagonal arrow. The icon is currently located on the PDF reader’s own toolbar. Full screen mode can even display multiple pages.
In addition to full screen mode, Microsoft is also testing a new menu that includes options to hide annotations and to view the document properties. All the features are available in the latest version of Edge Canary. Since Microsoft is running a “controlled deployment”some users may receive these features sooner than others.
