There was a time when belonging to the geek culture represented a stigma in society. Fortunately we evolved for the better and now the geek movement has become a fashion to which many want to belong. We understand, being a loyal fan of video games, manga, anime or comics is incredible, once you join there is no turning back.
It happens to anyone. Even these artists hollywood, who are much geekier than us and maybe you didn't know it. That's why, on Geek Pride Day, we mention them so you know you have something in common with them.
They are stars, they are famous… They are one of us
- Vin Diesel: you probably know him for being the interpreter of Dominic Toretto, in the very extensive Fast and Furious saga. However, the American actor has a hobby that he will not abandon for anything in the world: he is a skilled video game player. Being one of Riddick's leads was one of the roles he enjoyed the most, even though he did not achieve fame like other roles in his Hollywood career.
- Ryan Reynolds: There is no one who has been so perfectly suited for a role like that of Deadpool. The 45-year-old Canadian is a huge fan of Marvel. Many of us will remember his campaign so that Hugh Jackman return as wolverine to work with him since it is his dream because he is one of his favorite characters.
- Daniel Radcliffe: The actor, far from spells, has a strong calling for the force of the Jedi. “I'm a new Star Wars fan. In a way, I may have been Harrison Ford's worst nightmare, because he was like 'Those movies are great,' like he'd just heard about them,” Radcliffe said in an interview. Likewise, he also entertains himself with the most representative figures of Marvel and, like any good person, prefers Spider-Man.
- Oscar Isaac: Poe Dameron in the Star Wars universe is actually a faithful follower of everything that has to do with the world created by George Lucas. “My uncle, my brother, my cousin… They are all Star Wars fans. “My uncle almost died when he found out” about his role in the new movies, he said at the time.
- Margot Robbie. The actress confessed in an interview that she is an exaggerated fan of Harry Potter. Specifically, he said that if they talked about the stories of JK Rowling she would be “a deep nerd.”
