Michelle Alonso from Tenerife and Miguel Ángel Martínez Tajuelo from Jaén will be the two Spanish swimmers who will compete in the swimming finals this Sunday in the afternoon in the Tokyo Paralympic Games.The Canarian swimmer will seek her third consecutive gold medal in the 100-meter breaststroke SB14 (intellectual disability) after a series in which she set the best time of the finalists (1: 13.25) and where she will have the British Louise Fiddes as her main rival.
For its part, the Andalusian Martínez Tajuelo will be in the final of the 50 meters backstroke S3 (physical disability) after finishing with the eighth best record (54.88).
On the other hand, the Valencian José Antonio Marí and the Catalan Óscar Salguero in the 50 free S9 (physical disability), the Zaragoza María Delgado in the 50 free S13 (visual disability) and the Valladolid Luis Huerta in the 100 could not access the finals breaststroke SB4 (physical disability).
