The differences between the United States and China, as well as nearshoring, have been taken advantage of by Mexico to gain commercial ground with the most important market on the planet.
According to data from the Bureau, in the ninth month of the year, trade between Mexico and the United States reached 76.1 billion dollars; Canada was in second place on the list, with 64.7 billion, and China in third position with 52.1 billion.
In the accumulated January-September period, Mexico was also ranked as the main US trading partner, with a total trade of 599.8 billion dollars, leaving Canada (582.1 billion) and China (421.9 billion) with second and third places, respectively.
Canada’s purchases from the United States were greater than those from Mexico; However, those made by Americans with Mexican products surpassed those of Canada.
