Among the services offered by the platform are providing economic and commercial intelligence information, rapprochement with local agencies and authorities, and linking with companies and suppliers in the production chain, the agency detailed.
From January to December of last year, Mexico received 31,621.2 million dollars (mdd) of FDI, reported the SE February; in 2020 the figure reached 27,635 million dollars and in 2019, before the coronavirus, the figure was 34,269 million dollars, according to information from Data Mexico.
“Invest in Mexico”, which is in charge of the Global Economic Intelligence Unit of the SE, is located in the executive tower of the secretariat in Mexico City.
To participate in this platform, interested investors must have a pre-investment project and be referenced by a Mexican representation abroad, accredited diplomatic representations in Mexico, promotion agencies of other countries inside and outside the country and binational chambers.
