As part of the internal investigation who made the STPS regarding possible acts of anti-union discrimination and employer interference, during the review three procedures were carried out union democracyduring which the workers, through the personal, free, direct and secret voteits conformity or not with its collective labor agreementthe terms negotiated in its comprehensive review and likewise, they chose the union that best represents their interests in the administration of said collective agreement.
“The timely attention and diligence of the Mexican government through its labor authorities allowed satisfactorily resolve the conflict and safeguard the collective rights of workers at the facility, without the need for activate a dispute resolution panel or impose trade sanctions”, highlighted the joint statement.
