The Valencian supermarket chain has been receiving messages from in its social networks, and also in its stores, by customers concerned and upset by the apparent lack of milk in some areas of the country. The company itself has responded confirming supply problems by the supplier, a Galician company whose semi-skimmed milk has precisely been recognized as the best in the country.
Is about Naturleite, which belongs to the COVAP group since 2018 and whose milk production plant is located in Meira (Lugo). Apparently, for days there has been a shortage of the entire range of Hacendado milk in several physical Mercadona stores, and also in the online store, the same not happening with other brand ranges that are more expensive.
Hello, we are sorry for the inconvenience, we are having supply shortages from the supplier and we are working to provide service normally as soon as possible. If you want, tell us in which store and what variety you want and we will look at the current stock. Thanks.

This atypical situation that apparently does not respond to any external circumstance, as happened with the stoppage of transport a few months ago or the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, is causing a lot of discomfort among the chain’s customers, who are not receiving well the recent withdrawal of products from its catalog, such as croquettes or many vegan foods.
The current climate, with the economic crisis and rising inflation that has triggered the shopping basket, has exacerbated consumer discontent, who even accuse the company of not paying their suppliers fairlyof a premeditated movement to force to buy more expensive products or anticipating a alleged price hike.
At the moment the company has not spoken in more detail about it beyond the brief apologies on Twitter.
