Raymundo Fernández Pendones, deputy general director of Megacable, said that he is maintaining an investigation against the company that has dedicated itself to vandalize networks through misuse of company brands, and even posing as telecommunications technicians.
The Megacable manager states that the port of Veracruz has also had its network affected by theft and fiber cutting, which indicates that these events have nothing to do with Megacable.
“We are about to make a statement with our position. We want to know if the participation of that external misused the Megacable brand; We still cannot know if he is guilty or innocent, but the reality is that that company is suspended,” he revealed.
The Guadalajara company emphasized that it has nothing to do with the cutting of Telmex’s fiber optics, since the company, it says, has dedicated itself to investing in expanding its fiber optic network, as well as in technology to improve its service.
Since 2021, Megacable has undertaken a market expansion strategy through the deployment of more optical fiber to gain greater market share.
“We have been in the market for 42 years and we have never had a problem and we will not have a problem and we will reach the ultimate consequences. Suppliers other than us are being sued for the damage they can do against us like any other and in coordination with other companies, it is not something that we do and let’s be clear, they can investigate anywhere, we have never had a problem and we never Nothing has been shown to us,” said Raymundo Pendones.
