1.- Claudio X. González Laporte / Kimberly-Clark of Mexico
The businessman is 89 years old and is the oldest in this year’s edition. Claudio X. González runs the largest personal hygiene company in the country, having brands such as Pétalo, Kleenex, Suavel, Huggies. Kleenbabe. Kotex and Shield.
This year, he celebrates 50 years of directing Kimberly-Clark of Mexico and rises four positions in the ranking, placing himself at number 24.
2.- Olegario Vázquez Raña / Ángeles Business Group
The 87-year-old businessman is in 44th place, down two positions this year. The jewel in the crown of his conglomerate is the Ángeles Hospitals, which were born after the purchase of Hospital Humana in 1986 and which generate 66% of his income. In addition, it has subsidiaries in the Tourism, Communication and Finance sectors.
However, he is not only successful in business, but also in sports. In 1975 he received a gold medal after his participation in the Pan American Games in Mexico City, in the discipline of archery. .

The businessman is the son of Miguel Álvarez Ochoa, a professor who decided to found the company in 1945, when he began manufacturing pills for children.

Carlos Slim is perhaps the businessman best known to Mexicans. The story of how he managed to become the country’s leading businessman always attracts attention.
Slim once again occupies the number 1 position in the ranking and the generational change already seems close, at least that is what he made known to the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, in one of his conferences in 2019.
He is 83 years old and his son Carlos Slim Domit is seen as his main successor.

Like Slim Helú, this businessman is 83 years old. Beckmann is the owner of one of the world’s leading alcoholic beverage companies. This year he dropped one position in the ranking and is placed at 23rd.
Beckmann was born in February 1940 in Mexico City and grew up in the state of Tijuana. The businessman studied as a Public Accountant at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, and in 1970 he was the heir to 11 generations dedicated to the production, marketing and distribution of tequila globally.
