According to him, quitting his job was his wife’s idea during the toughest stage of the pandemic, but the digital marketing work that his own relatives implemented to make him known on social networks and boosting his client portfolio was such that by August 2020, just a few months after making the decision, he had already started running his own business.
With inspiring phrases, concrete answers and videos of his day to day, Dae supports his more than 238 thousand followers to make decisions, even gives them some advice or simply shows them his hard work with which he has achieved success.

The story of Dae’s Detail was spread by his mother, whom he considers the brains of his marketing strategyWell, it was she who started sharing videos of the techniques that her son uses when making his friends’ cars beautiful.
The company became a family niche and began to grow. The woman also quit her job to help Dae and devoted herself entirely to creating content and spreading the business.

Their first viral came with the clip of a Cadillac transformed into a Porsche, an edition that earned them more than 3 million views… hence, social media did it all.
Today, the account has grown at an impressive speed; the material that is shared already includes tips and tricks to keep vehicles clean, with up to 16 million views.
And it is that his content is no longer only seen in the United States, the inspiration of his willpower and entrepreneurship went around the world and it is users from distant areas such as Ireland or Australia who approach him to ask for guidance and congratulate him. .

David Palmer and his mother they got another boost from social media, as the virality of the business made Illinois car care company Turtle Wax seek them out, becoming their first big customer.
This was the angular point at which the entrance of Dae’s house was transformed into a building, since in October 2021 he already had enough money to buy the space where they operate today.
“It definitely changed my life. I learned a lot about business because I had no idea. It was something I wanted to do, I just didn’t know how to do it and then they threw me into it,” Palmer shared in interviews.
