Madonna was hospitalized emergency after being found unconscious in her home. According to a report from page six, the Queen of Pop checked into a New York clinic on Saturday. The 62-year-old singer was victim of a bacterial infection severe, so the medical staff moved her to the intensive care unit.
Information about Madonna’s health status is unknown. Her manager, Guy Oseary, posted a post on his Instagram account where he mentions that he is under medical supervision.
“On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection that led to several days in the intensive care unit. Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected,” she said. “At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour,” she mentioned.
Sources close to the singer confirmed that is aware. The news comes less than three weeks after Madonna launched the Celebration Tour, his new tour that includes more than 84 presentations in the United States and Europe. The Queen of Pop has scheduled a concert at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, as well as at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City.
