After several months of rumors, the event of WWDC 2022 of Manzana gave us our first look at the new MacBook Air 2 with M2 chip already integrated. Along with all the information related to its technical sections and release date, It has also been revealed what its price is in Mexican pesos.
As for its design, the new MacBook leaves aside its teardrop shape, and now has straight and sober forms. Moving on to the internal components, the M2 chip adds an extra core, for a total of 10. In this way, the final performance is 20% more than in the M1 chip. Alongside this, there is still no fan.
The screen is 13.6 inches and has 500 nits of brightness, capable of capturing more than a billion colors. There is a FaceTime camera with a notch, 1080p capable of detecting low light environments much better. This new MacBook Air has the MagSafe 3 port of the MacBook Pro, in addition to the two USB-C/Thunderbolt 4. We also find a 3.5mm audio jack.
Now, there are currently two models available in Mexico, and their prices are:
-8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 8GB unified memory, and 256GB SSD storage – $29,999 pesos.
-8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 8GB unified memory and 512GB SSD storage – $37,999 pesos.
Regarding its release date, Apple’s site at the moment does not mention when the MacBook Air 2 with M2 chip will be available in Mexicoso you’d better prepare your wallet for when this information is available in a few weeks.
