Although I cannot say that I am a person who has not returned to massive events, because even in the coverage of technology events I have already had to cover a couple of events with thousands of people, I must admit that I still cannot go to massive events for a simple reason: I have less tolerance for them. And this factor is something that could be replicated for many people who used to attend ballroom dances or concerts.
While I was testing the LG Xboom XL7 a couple of friends confessed to me how much they missed the lights that are emitted at concerts, as well as being able to dance at a higher volume than usual and that this speaker reminded them of that: going out dancing with friends, but from home.
What do you like about the LG Xboom XL7?
There were several things that I really liked about this speaker, one of them was the possibility of customizing the speaker according to the mood of the meeting, for this you must download the LG Xboom application, from where the equipment will be linked and you can adapt the horn to the colors that the user wants, in addition to being able to play from this app with various functions.
For example, you can put messages at the top if you want the speaker to highlight the event that is taking place or you want to have a message for someone special. In my case, I had my sister’s bachelorette party and I used this event as a pretext so that it could be seen in the videos that we were celebrating that special event. It is also possible to choose the range of colors in which the horn will be, so each user can give a special touch to each event.
In addition to having these functions available, the horn allows you to bring out your sonidero side, since directly in the application you can send a message to those who are listening and in any case make the sonidero greeting effect so characteristic in some dances.
Another feature that I liked about this speaker was the battery time it has, because if you are using it, with all the lights on, it is possible to have continuous music playback for up to 12 hours, and if the you have no light, it is possible that the battery lasts the almost 20 hours that it promises.
It also has a plus in charging time, since in more or less 3 hours it is possible to have an almost 100% independent battery for a day.
As for the places where this horn was tested, they were an 80-square-meter apartment in which the volume did not exceed 30%, while on an outing to a house with a pool, it managed to give a good experience with a volume of 70%. audio to attendees.
Was there anything I didn’t like about the LG Xboom XL7?
I must admit that despite the fact that I have tested several speakers in the last months, finding a factor that I disliked was difficult, because in terms of price and quality of the product, this speaker will grow to have good audio technology, good tools of entertainment and a weight and dimensions suitable for those who are looking to set a space with a lot of volume.
Perhaps the only thing that can be a point of improvement is the issue of wireless connection, since it only allows connection via bluetooth which leaves the user without the option of connecting to the speaker via WiFi and therefore without being able to play any type of audio without playing through the speaker.
Regarding the price, this speaker is priced at 7,099 pesos, which, unlike products such as the Sony Bluetooth V43D, which is priced above 9,000 pesos, is a team that competes well within this range.
