In the quarter, the company had 13.3% higher revenues compared to the same quarter of 2021, for 24,191 million pesos. In addition, it reached an Ebitda of 2,668 million pesos, 10.2% higher in the same period.
“Given the inflationary environment, we continue to focus on executing our strategy, reducing the company’s leverage and maintaining a solid market share in the different categories and markets,” said Arquímedes Celis, CEO of Grupo Lala, quoted in the financial statements sent to the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV).

The company also registered a 16.8% increase in its costs due to a rise in its main inputs, “particularly pronounced” in Brazil and the United States.
Despite this, operating expenses in 2022 amounted to 24,521 million pesos, equivalent to 26.3% of sales, an improvement of 80 basis points compared to the previous year.
