Javier Milei carried out an act, this Sunday in the amphitheater of Parque Lezama, as a closing of the campaign. There he took the stage singing a song from the rock group La Renga (Panic Show), although with some modified phrases. “Hello everyone, I am the king, I am the lion, the beast roared in the middle of the avenue, ran the breed, without understanding, panic show in broad daylight. I am a king of a lost world. I’m the king, I’ll tear you apart the whole breed belongs to my appetite. Long live the fucking freedom, ”shouted the candidate for national deputy for the La Libertad Avanza front.
Consequently, today the band published a message on their official account of the social network Instagram, to detach themselves from the act and the candidate in question. “Whoever wants to is free to listen, sing, dance and play songs by La Renga, what is wrong, legally and morally, is to take the liberty of using those songs for a political campaign and personal benefit, a follower of our band would never do that. “La Renga said in the statement. And to that reaction, the candidate also answered him and added another controversial chapter.
“Between us there are ties and feelings, we do not want to have a disguised friend talking about freedom”, sentenced the rock group.
Regarding the closing ceremony, the libertarian front estimated that they managed to duplicate the call that Milei had had a month ago, at the launch in Holland Square. “I remember that I asked them to roar loudly and make the cry of freedom heard and boy did they succeed, the political caste is all shit,” said the candidate, true to his provocative style.
Before the manifestation of the rock group -one of the most convoking of music in Argentina- the candidate himself returned to add a response and -also- more controversial. Faced with a comment from a user on Twitter, Milei published a photo with the title of a note about an event organized by the ruling party years in his previous administration: “With La Renga on stage and a fleeting step from Cristina, Kirchnerism made its party in Plaza de Mayo ”. To that image, he added the following comment: “It seems that they are a bit asymmetrical …”
La Libertad Avanza aims to position itself as the third force in the City of Buenos Aires, with the aim of installing liberal ideas in the National Congress. Their main adversaries are the “lefties”, in terms of the members of the libertarian party themselves, a category within which they include from Gabriel Solano and Leandro santoro until “Larreta umbrella and his henchmen”. In the same sense, they pointed out that they seek to differentiate themselves from Kirchnerism and from “Together for the Charge”.
“They are so scared … Why is the political caste, chorra, parasitic and useless, afraid of freedom? Probably it must be because they benefit a lot with the current model, because only they progressed and we live worse and worse despite the fact that every day we work more ”, Milei continued provoking yesterday. “What the hell are they looking at, if those countries that are freer are eight times richer than the repressed ones?” He asked his audience at Parque Lezama.
The candidate for national deputy also charged against “socialism” and considered that everywhere where it was applied “it was a failure economically, socially, culturally and also 150 million human beings were murdered.” “Before criticizing liberalism, stand up rats,” he added. Late Sunday night, Milei pointed out that “every time the State gets in the way, it violates private property, pollutes prices and the system works worse; Socialism always fails, that’s why they always generate misery, ”he continued. He also aimed against “The bullshit of the spill theory”, that “does not exist, they recontract it inside.”
During the week the libertarian front had suffered several setbacks to organize the closing of the campaign this Sunday. They denounced that from the Buenos Aires government they put “bureaucratic obstacles” to hinder logistics. They finally managed to get authorization to mount the event just at the end of Argentina’s match with Brazil, which a priori meant another problem to overcome due to the fear that the expected level of people would not attend. “Beyond the operations, the persecutions, the prohibitions, the sabotages, the weather was on our side; even Argentina-Brazil was suspended ”, chicaneó the liberal economist.
