“It is an honor for me to assume this great responsibility, not only because of the recognition, but also because I have the opportunity to preside over IAB Mexico in one of the most crucial moments in the industry. After this period of pandemic, in which we had to unlearn in order to learn again, it is important to take responsibility and assume the role of communicating what the industry is doing in the country,” Loaiza commented.
The guiding axes in its work agenda are to make advertising and marketing communication more efficient in a digital environment, encourage the demand for products and services in a responsible manner and promote the development and professionalization of talent for the advertising ecosystem.
During her tenure, Loaiza will be accompanied by Josué González, Vice President of Industry Lead, from Meta; Jack Ades, secretary and CEO of Capital Digital; Juan Cristóbal Ferrer, treasurer and CEO of Ferrer; Juan Diez, member and CEO at Havas Mexico; José Maceda, member and country head of Mercado Ads México and Matías Carracedo, member and head of agencies of Google.
These experts who make up the organization’s Executive Committee aim to build a bridge between the discussion at the senior management level of the Board of Directors and the development of the association’s deliverables on education, research and best practices for the digital advertising ecosystem. and interactive marketing, while promoting a better industry-country project.
The general director of IAB Mexico, Gabriel Richaud, thanked Federico Isuani for his work at the head of the Council during 2021-2022, and congratulated Loaiza on the appointment.
“Mexico has the privilege of being one of the first countries in the IAB global network in which advertisers, agencies, media, technology companies, consulting, research and educational institutions sit at the table seeking to work collaboratively to promote responsible use of technologies, data and content to encourage the demand for products and services for the benefit of society as a whole”, he pointed out.
Who is Julieta Loaiza?
The senior executive was part of the IAB Board of Directors, during the 2020-2021 cycle. Loaiza occupied one of the four seats destined for brands, in the company of Guillermo Céspedes, Integrated Marketing Director at BBVA; Gustavo Lara, VP of EDP at Danone, and Andrés Castañeda, SVP marketing & e-commerce at Aeroméxico.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the creation and innovation of brands through business, marketing and communication strategies. For 15 years she worked in global creative agencies, but in 2007 she decided to continue her professional growth in the world of advertisers by joining Nestlé, where she started as head of consumer communication in Mexico.
Four years later, Loaiza directed the multicultural communication and marketing area in the United States. Today he contributes his experience and leadership in the Vice Presidency of Communication and Corporate Affairs of Nestlé Mexico.
