Here is the synopsis of the film:
The People’s Joker is a film described as “a bizarre coming-of-age origin story: After years of numbing herself to irony and an inhalant called Smylex, a graceless wannabe clown grapples with gender identity, the first love and old enemies, all while founding an illegal comedy theater in Gotham City. It’s a strange installment of the Joker story. Completely unlicensed from DC and Warner Brothers. Starring and directed by Vera Drew (“Beef House”, “Who Is America”). It features the work of 200 independent artists on three separate continents, all made during a global pandemic.
