However, among the great (very great) classics of La Rioja gastronomy we find one of the most beloved legume recipes in the region: the caparrones.
Are unique beans, which have put towns like Anguiano on the map, are creamier and more delicate than the classic white beans. However, the way to accompany them is very similar to the traditional recipes with legumes with meat that we see in our kitchens.
In a way, they are still white beans with chorizo, since the caparrones have all the ingredients. usual sacraments as happens with the classic Asturian fabada compango, plus some extra.
