Instagram is also working on new options for accounts and the home feed
In parallel, Instagram is also working on an option so that users can modify the order of those publications that appear on your profile. The app, remember, publishes the photos or videos in chronological order. That is, the most recent ones appear first. The new function, on the other hand, will allow to alter this order and the user will be able to drag a photograph published for months, for example, to the first position.
Another function that will come to the social network owned by Facebook is the possibility of choosing between three different feeds. The main page of Instagram will show a home section where all the publications will appear dynamically, as before. That is, first those that may be interesting for the user, regardless of their publication time. In this feed, in addition, it will also show related content from other accounts that a person does not follow.
Additionally, it will also be possible to choose between a feed where only the publications of the accounts that a person follows appear, and another with those users marked as “favorites”. These improvements will soon come to the app, according to Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram.
