This island meets the Ikea’s strictest standards for stability, durability and safety. That’s why we recommend it. It may look very flimsy but it really isn’t and can withstand home use for years.
It will provide a extra work space thanks to the sturdy wooden top surface. In addition, it has storage space in the side drawers and the bottom. In them we can store everything from utensils to cutlery. And they open from both sides.
In the lower trays we can store everything from bottles (there is space for up to 9 bottles of wine) to small appliances. So it is a good place to leave the toaster, the kettle, and even the Italian coffee maker.
Or if we prefer, convert it into a space to store condiments, jars of vegetables, pasta and much more. What more could we ask for? Well then It has wheels on one side so we can lift it slightly and move it to put it where it best suits us.
