The Swedish company did not detail the number of products that could be affected, nor how many of these chairs were sold in its stores, located in Mexico City and Puebla.
The chairs that could be affected are no longer in the IKEA online store, while others of the same model but in a different color have a list price of 3,499 pesos.
IKEA, which celebrates two years of its arrival in the Mexican market in March with the opening of its store located in the Encuentro Oceanía shopping center in the country’s capital, has faced a lack of products in its catalogue, generated by the ruptures in the logistics chains, although these have been decreasing.
That is why the retailer seeks to add more Mexican suppliers to strengthen the supply chain in the country, meanwhile, with the current local production network, it has managed to improve inventories.
