How to turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on iPhone or iPad
Starting with iOS 11, whenever you turn off Wi-Fi or Bluetooth from Control Center on your iPhone, the icons turn gray. This means that even if you have disabled it, they will only do so for one day. Also, they will be disconnected from certain devices –such as routers or speakers-, but the connection will remain available for other functions. Among them, AirDrop and AirPlay; the Apple Pencil and Apple Watch, location services and several others.
However, if you want to turn it off completely, you have to do the following.
- Enter the app Settings of your iPhone or iPad.
- To deactivate Bluetooth, go to the indicated section and deactivate the switch.
- In the case of Wi-Fi, do exactly the same.
Ready. Now both connections will remain completely disabled until you re-enable them from Settings or Control Center. Of course, there is a different way to deactivate both connections with a single button. Just follow this procedure.
