How to schedule WhatsApp messages from the iPhone
The process is quick and simple, so in a couple of steps you will have everything ready to start. Just make sure you follow the guide, step by step, to set your iPhone shortcut correctly and schedule WhatsApp messages.
- Open the app Shortcuts on your iPhone.
- Tap the “+” button located at the top right of the screen.
- Now, you will see a new menu from which you can create different shortcuts. Just tap on Add action.
- In the top search bar, type Text and select it from the list.

- Tap the bottom bar once again and type WhatsApp. Now, select Send message to and choose your preferred contact.

- Tap on the tab Automationin the bottom bar.
- Choose New automation and then Time of day.
- Choose the time you want the scheduled WhatsApp message to be sent.
- Tap on Following and in the new menu look for the shortcut you just produced. In my case, it is called Send Message.
- You will see the automation generated. Tap on it and select Run immediately. You can disable the field Notify when executed.
Once this is done, The automation to schedule WhatsApp messages will now be ready. Now the countdown will start running to send the message to your recipient. It should be noted that this process is not necessary every time. From now on you will only need to edit the Text, Contact and time fields. The rest will be done alone.
