Before starting, it is recommended to make a backup. This allows you to restore the backup once the factory reset is done. Even if you don’t want or need all of the above settings, it’s a good idea to keep them at least for a while.
How to factory reset an Android
Once the backup is done, the easiest way to reset your smartphone is by going to settings.
Step 1. go to Settings > System.
Step 2. touch Advanced Options.
Step 3. touch Reset Options.
Step 4. touch Erase all data (factory reset).
Step 5. enter your PIN To continue with the process
Step 6. touch Clear all data to finish the reset process.
Your phone will take a few minutes to reset, and when it does it will automatically reboot and show you the same startup settings screen you’d see with any other device out of the box.
