The king of the ‘king’, this is how the mythical Whopper has evolved since its inception, the Burger King queen burger and eternal competition, although with its differences, from the classic Big Mac that McDonald’s has as its flag.
Very easy to make at home, or to emulate, since its ingredients can be found quite easily, the reality of this Whopper is that, curiously, it is a cheeseburger. It may seem like a rarity, but you don’t have to.
What it does need —and in abundance— is to have a green counterpoint that, as you will see below, has a more than logical order so that the hamburger makes sense and does not fall apart. This version of the Whopper is faithful to the original, but if you want remove, add or modify some ingredient, do it at will.
From there, you can prepare the hamburger as you wantalthough to be as faithful to the original as possible, their thing is to try to make it on the grill or, at least, on a grill, but if you want to do it grilled or smash burger style, you can also do it without problems.
In this case we are only going to make a hamburger, but if you want to make more you just have to increase the number of ingredients proportionally. In addition, for this occasion we can choose well what meat we want to use, so it is better to use one with a small proportion of fat like the needle or, if we want to spend a little more money, a well-chopped entrecote.
once with our tempered minced meat, we salt it and roll it into a ball, shaping it into a hamburger, and we mark it on the grill when it is very hot. Just one minute on each side and you don’t have to be turning and dizzying the meat there.
We also grill the inside of the bread, putting a tablespoon of mayonnaise on each side and assemble the hamburger starting with the meat, then with the pickle, ketchup, onion, tomato and lettuce.

With what to accompany your homemade Whopper Burger King style
There is no —or we haven’t yet found it— a better companion for a hamburger than some good fries, although we can innovate a little more or follow in the line of fast good that today we propose as some onion rings, some mozzarella sticks or resort to the also classic potato wedges.
