What is Bonddia?
Bonddia is a daily fund of the National Financial Fund Operator (Nafin), which specializes in investments mainly in government debt instruments. This means that your money goes to bonds issued by the federal government of Mexico and, complementary, to banking instruments.
The key feature of Bonddia is its daily liquidity, which means that you can access your resources daily on banking business days. This is from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon.
How to invest in Bonddia in Cetes Directo
When you enter the Cetes Directo platform and want to invest, you will notice that there are several options, such as Cetes and different types of bonds with different terms, but you will not see the Bonddia option explicitly. So how can you invest in Bonddia?
The answer is simple. When you deposit funds into your Cetes Directo account and these are not intended for specific investments, the platform automatically directs them to Bonddia to generate daily returns. In some cases, there is a kind of “remainder” of your money that is not invested in Cetes, even though you have given that instruction, and that amount goes directly to Bonddia.
You have the freedom to leave your resources invested in Bonddia or select other investment options available on the platform. In some cases, the platform will even allow you to carry out transactions paying with Bonddia.
It is important to note that Bonddia are considered a low-risk instrument, with an AAA credit rating, the highest possible.
