For these cases, we are going to offer you a series of tricks with which get a few extra minutes of battery to your mobile. Options that will allow the mobile to have more time available, receiving the expected call message, as well as to communicate with us.
The display has the battery key
Although there are many tricks and options with which improve autonomy, the screen has the most important key. This element has become the linchpin of smartphones and also of battery consumption. Without the screen we cannot do much with the mobile and for that reason, we will try to optimize it to the maximum so that it does not waste our resources and works longer.
Reduce the refresh rate
The first thing we recommend is to change the refresh rate, which is known as the frame rate that we see on the screen. This, which is key for games or the fluidity of the device, will not be necessary or will not be so important if we are facing a 10% battery. In these cases, what worries us the most is that the mobile does not turn off.
To do this, the steps are very similar on smartphones. We just have to enter Settings> Screen and locate the frequency rate, within we stop possible to modify it to a minimum of 60 Hz. With this configuration completed, we will have already taken the first step.
Change screen resolution
In the same way that the refresh rate is key in the autonomy of the mobile, the screen resolution is also very important. It is not advisable to raise the resolution above Full HD, as it is a energy expenditure that we will not detect in most circumstances and much less if we have a low battery.
In this case, the resolution change is also fast and efficient, checking how the battery of our mobile phone stops going down so fast. You just have to go back to the Settings section> Screen> Screen resolution. To do so, give way to the option that allows us to modify the minimum resolution and the one that will have the least high-quality images to process with the corresponding battery consumption.
Turn the shine to a minimum
We cannot ignore the brightness of the screen, the light that comes from within the smartphone and that the greater intensity it has, the more energy it requires. A change that does not involve complex options, you just have to lower the notification bar and in the brightness shortcut, lower the brightness bar to the lowest level that our eyes can allow.
This however could be bad for a long period of time and is only recommended for those situations in which we have to use the mobile for a few more minutes. Looking at a screen in low light can cause this view to suffer and tire quickly.
No Always On screens
Although it is an option that offers us many advantages, it is also one of the large energy consumers in the landscape of Android mobiles. An advantage that smartphones with an Amoled screen enjoy and that therefore only they will have to worry about deactivating in these cases. In other situations, when the battery drops below 20% it is automatically disabled. The process to do this is Settings> Display> Always On Display and proceed to turn it off.
Go dark mode
Another key to continue getting more autonomy time is again in the Amoled screens, which can get a big difference in battery stopping using light mode in favor of dark mode. An option that is activated from the screen settings again or in some cases in personalization.
By making a certain number of pixels deactivate, they do not require power from the battery and we could even multiply the autonomy of the terminal if the apps we use also have this mode.
Disable all connections
The mobile can be used for so many things that sometimes we can even forget about all the connections it offers us and therefore to make the battery last longer, we must not ignore the possibilities to deactivate Bluetooth, NFC or GPS . Some of these connections will be able to offer us a small battery saving percentage being activated to deactivated and much greater if we use them.
Something similar happens with mobile data and WiFi, which if not their masters will not be a great step forward, but as long as we do not need it and we are facing an emergency situation, we will do well to end them. It is better to do all the steps then regret not having taken them into consideration.
Saving battery will help us
We cannot forget about the great mobile tool to achieve the desired battery saving. This option will be more or less restrictive depending on the mobile model we have and the configuration applied, but already added to everything we have done, it will be an important piece.
We will only have to worry about activating the button that will be in the quick access bar or within Settings> Battery, because we will only have to touch it and among other things, the vibration of the mobile is deactivated and all the apps will stop synchronizing.
Turning off the mobile prevents consumption
We will only be able to choose this option when we need the mobile to make the call or send the message, but not when we are waiting for someone to contact us or we will not be able to respond. However, it becomes the ideal option for other situations, where we do not currently need a mobile phone, but later we do and the battery will not be enough.
When turning it off, we almost completely stop consumption, making when turning it on even a day later, let’s continue with the same percentage of available battery. Thus we will save ourselves from following all the previous processes since everything will be stopped.
