For this year, 8 out of 10 people express interest in purchasing products and/or services during this edition, according to the report on Purchase Expectations during El Buen Fin 2023 from the Mexican Online Sales Association (AMVO).
If you find yourself in this group, Gerardo Obregón, Founder and General Director of Prestadero.com, a Collective Financing Fintech authorized by the CNBV, offers some recommendations to avoid impulsive purchases that could affect your finances:
- Not having a budget: Before participating in El Buen Fin, establish a clear budget and stick to it. This will help you control your expenses and motivate you not to buy what you don’t need.
- Impulse purchases: Avoid buying products just because they are on sale. We know that you deserve everything or your family, but controlling these emotions will improve your situation in the short and long term by avoiding unnecessary expenses.
- Don’t compare prices: Even though it’s promoted as a deep discount event, don’t assume that every product has the best deal at that time. Compare prices at different stores to make sure you get the real best deal.
