One of the biggest rumors of recent years could come true soon. Although at the moment there is no official information, it seems that Konami is preparing for the return of Silent Hill, and would do it in a great way. However, before this perhaps comes to pass during Tokyo Game Show 2022, It is time to take a tour of the supposed deliveries that will arrive in the future.
As you probably already know, over the last few years, several rumors and alleged leaks point not only to Silent Hill having a new installment, but several, including a remake of the second title. The reimagining of Silent Hill 2 would be in charge of Bloober Team, and would serve to give rise to the new stage in the series. Although the official details are non-existent, leaks assure that this title would be available next year.
Fortunately, this is not all, since a completely new installment, which would be known as silent hill 5, It would also be in development, and would come to PC and PlayStation 5, as a temporary exclusive on consoles, until 2024. At the moment it is unknown if Konami is in charge of this project, or another studio has the reins. With this, it is spoken of Silent Hill: Sakuraa PT-style demo that would serve as the prelude to this game.
Finally, between 2023 and 2024 we would also have a series of small experiences, known as Silent Hill: Short Stories. This project would be smaller in scale, and would be run by an independent studio, with Annapurna Interactive overseeing its development.
As always, at the moment there is no official information about these four projects. In related topics, the first images of the remake of Silent Hill 2. Similarly, this would be the plot of Silenthill 5.
Editor’s note:
We all want to see a new Silent Hill. However, talking about four projects sounds crazy for a franchise that has been dormant for years. I have no doubt that these titles will be available in the future, but I hope that we will not see a new installment every year.
