BMV rises encouraged by Grupo México
The Mexican stock market advanced on Wednesday, contrary to the trend of the main stock markets abroad, driven by the titles of the mining giant Grupo México that shot up after Citigroup announced that it will make an initial public offering of its unit in the country Banamex .
The leading S&P/BMV IPC .MXX index, which brings together the 35 most traded shares in the domestic market, rose 0.63% to 53,457.06 points, interrupting a streak of three consecutive days of losses in which it accumulated a decline of almost 4% .
