The other GWM models for Mexico
GWM has five brands, each focused on specific segments: a mass-market SUV called Haval; another pickup truck called Poer; 4×4 models called Tank; another one with 100% electric retro-style models called Ora, and one with a luxury SUV called Wey.
In addition to the Haval Jolion, GWM is soon preparing to introduce its Tank brand with the 300 model, an affordable all-terrain vehicle designed for adventurous lifestyles.
From this same brand, there are two other models in the pipeline: the Tank 400 and the Tank 500. The first exhibits a design language characterized by angular lines; while the Tank 500 is a premium off-road SUV designed to redefine the driving experience for adventure enthusiasts.
For those confused by the nomenclature of the Tank series, GWM has offered a simple guide to understanding the line. The Tank 300 serves as the base model, followed by two pairs of mechanically related models: the 400/500 and the flagship 700/800. The key distinction lies in the design philosophy, with the 500 and 800 models adopting a premium aesthetic, while the 400 and 700 models embrace a more rugged and adventurous look.
The Chinese manufacturer is also analyzing the introduction of a hybrid pickup under the Poer brand. There are two configurations of its medium pickup truck, one with a commercial focus and another with more premium equipment called Sahar.
