Google is being less reserved with its next phones, not in vain it has already largely unveiled the Pixel 6. With photos, with features and now in video: we can already appreciate what the next Google rep for Android looks like in hand. And it doesn’t look bad at all.
Mobile phone manufacturers are in such a bloody struggle that, to stand out in the news, they have to put special effort into earn interest long before presenting your mobiles. This is the reason why brands like Xiaomi or Realme often reveal key details of their devices so early. And it is surprising that Google has joined that strategy, we already know a lot about the Pixel 6.
A design that looks much better in the hand
Google has decided to break with the design of its phones by betting on a horizontal band for the back of its Pixel 6. This time said band, which corresponds to the rear cameras, protrudes several millimeters from the body of the phone. In the first leaks it seemed like a controversial design choice, quite the opposite of what happens after watching the video that Google itself has published.
Obviously, there will always be tastes for everything, but there is no doubt that the Google Pixel 6 offers a unique appeal once we have seen it in reality. Google shows it in a preview with great detail: you can see the size of the phone, its color contrasts, the refinement of the materials chosen and, as we said, the rear camera module also stands out. In a literal sense.
The Google Pixel 6 includes the first SoC developed by Google for complete phone management, the Google Tensor. Its screen will be OLED and will amount to 6.4 inches in diagonalIt will offer a fingerprint reader under the panel, a 90 Hz refresh rate and will have several color combinations to choose from. Its rear camera will be double.
Apart from the Google Pixel 6, the company will present the Pixel 6 Pro. It will offer larger dimensions for its screen and for the device itself and will add a 4x zoom telephoto to the rear array (It will be a triple camera). We still do not know when they will see the light officially, we only have “autumn” as an approximation. Google will probably choose the beginning of October for the event.
