The family of chrome cast expands once more. On this occasion, Google has revealed the Chromecast HD, a cheaper version of the 4K version that we can find todaybut it lacks the high resolution of its big brother.
Unlike the 4K model, which is priced at $49.99, the Chromecast HD only costs $29.99. Although the price is the most attractive aspect, this version lacks 4K support, and is only available in white, unlike the Chromecast 4Kwhich offers us three different tone options.
However, apart from these two differences, the Chromecast HD continues to offer us the same device to access platforms such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and more. Alongside this is support for Stadia and Google apps.
Although 4K is becoming more accessible to the public, the HD option is still valid for today’s market. Along with this, the reduced price is quite an attractive element. The Chromecast HD will be on sale starting October 18, 2022 for just $29.99.
