Francisco Garza, CEO of General Motors in Mexico, explained that there are currently eight companies interested in the vehicles. “We have already done some tests with them and we are in the process of confirming orders,” he detailed.
The first units will be delivered in the last quarter of the year and prices for the Mexican market will be confirmed later.
Both vehicles will be sold under a B2B (business to business) model, while maintenance services will be carried out in the General Motors dealer network.
According to previous information, production of electric vans is expected to reach 50,000 electric units per year by 2025. BrightDrop’s customers in the United States and Canada include FedEx, Walmart, Hertz and Verizon, Merchants Fleet, and DHL.
