Features of the Galaxy S22 5G and Galaxy S22 Plus
Among the main differences between the previous Samsung family and the current one is the finish of their phones. On this occasion, the South Korean brand opted for a nuanced finish that offers greater elegance without losing the pastel commitment of the Galaxy S21 family. Furthermore, they empowered the interior of these phones by including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset; an 8-nanometer core that allows better battery performance and the addition of amenities, such as better sound.
The weight of the Galaxy S22 is 168 grams. It has a 6.1-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The operating system is One UI 4.1, based on Android 12, which provides improvements to the phone’s interface and the possibility of integrating a custom color palette.
In the case of the Galaxy S22 Plus we have a 6.6-inch screen, a refresh rate equal to that of its younger brother and a slightly higher weight, since it is 196 grams. Compared with the past version of Galaxy, these new devices are more powerful in their performance, and also in their camera.
Both phones have a 50 MP main camera with a 3x optical zoom; a 12 MP lens and a 120º ultra wide angle. Unlike the Galaxy S21, this new device takes sharper photos with less pixelation, as well as having better stabilization.
To test the equipment, we leave some comparison photographs:

Features of the Galaxy S22 Ultra
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the successor to the Galaxy Note, both by design and by the integration of the S Pen. It is the device that had the biggest change in terms of design compared to the previous family; a success that several fans of the apple firm will be able to notice and that will even make them turn to see it. The phone looks and feels like a 30,000-plus-peso device, both in its weight, which is 226 grams, and in the accompanying camera.
It integrates a 108 MP main lens, a 120º 12 MP ultra wide angle lens, a 10 MP telephoto lens, and a 10 MP optical zoom that allows up to 40 zooms.
It has an 8-core processor that allows better battery, camera and internal processor performance. It not only makes a difference when connected to 5G networks, but also provides greater interaction in mobile games.
It is, without a doubt, one of the best and most aesthetic cell phones on the market. It integrates the iconic Samsung pen, which also allows annotations, drawings and more options to be used on the smartphone, which, unlike its smaller brothers, gives it an advantage over the most demanding consumer.
Is it worth the change?
If you are already a Samsung user and have the Galaxy Note 20, renewing with the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be a success. However, if you are looking for a device to renew a Fan Edition, such as a Huawei P30 Pro or an iPhone 12, it is better to go for the Plus option of this family.
