We’re at the gates of September And that means that the back to school campaign is in full swing. Every year, at this time, many operators take the opportunity to launch offers so that students can hire the Internet connection at a more affordable price and with some advantages over the usual rates.
Last week, without going any further, we learned about Finetwork and Movistar’s proposals. Now it’s the turn of Simyo, who proposes us its two plans FIBRA100 and FIBRA300 adapted for all those students who move to another city.
With discount for mobile customers
First of all, it must be clarified that Simyo’s proposal for students it is the same as for the rest of users. There are two fiber optic rates whose price depends on the speed of the connection:
FIBRA100: 25.99 euros per month (100 Mbps symmetric fiber).
FIBRA300: 30.99 euros per month (300 Mbps symmetric fiber).
Both rates do not have a landline phone and have free installation in exchange for a three-month stay. The router is also included in a free assignment, so when you unsubscribe you have to return it or pay the corresponding penalty. In addition, Simyo allows you to change the speed whenever you need it without additional cost (at most, once a day).
On the other hand, both students and any other user can enjoy 7 euros discount on the base fee if they contract or already have a prepaid mobile rate or contract equal to or greater than 7 euros.
The only difference between Simyo’s regular fiber rates compared to student plans is that, in the latter, the operator supports the temporary suspension of service once a year for up to three months. That is, if you go on summer vacation, you can call to suspend the service from that moment and you will stop paying from the next day until you return as long as you do not exceed 90 days.
